As what I’ve said from the previous articles, Lightroom is basically about helping photographers save time and effort. You can do a lot of things with Lightroom such as organizing images, creating efficient Lightroom presets, and emailing photographs in Lightroom.
In this article, we will talk about how to use the email features of Lightroom and how to send photos via email. These tips are very simple and quick to set-up so you don’t need to worry too much about anything.
Here are the steps in sending photos via E-mail:
Create and Setup Lightroom’s email account
For you to send photos via email without leaving the Lightroom’s interface, you need to create and setup an email account for lightroom to contact your friends and client. First, you need to access the Lightroom email account manager by right clicking on the images that you want to send and select email photo option. A new window will pop-up which is very similar to any popular email setup. After filling all the required information, you are now ready to share, and send messages via lightroom’s email service.
Understanding Lightroom’s Email Window
Basically, this window is very similar to what we are using. It is important to understand why it is included in the services of Lightroom. The program is a one-stop shop for most of us, photographers. And we don’t like to use a lot of programs since it cost so much of our time. For me, having this email feature in lightroom is helpful because I don’t need to get out of the program just to send important pictures to my friends, family, and clients.
Other than experiencing minor issues, this email feature by Lightroom has proven to be helpful and effective, especially when you need to send files immediately to your clients. Truly, this feature has helped me save more time and effort. If you want more tips and tricks check sites that have a huge resource for lightroom tutorials.
